Lifting Hands Community Empowerment Initiative in collaboration with Uganda Cancer Institute, Reproductive Health Uganda, Something deeper ministries organised for a 3 days cancer screening and awareness camp from 22 to 24 July 2022
the purpose of the camp was to screen for;
- 1. Breast Cancer
- 2. Prostate Cancer
- 3. Cervical Cancer
- Over 200 people turned for screening and 9 people were found to be highly suspicious of the different types of cancers.
