Joining Hands to Establish the National Federation of UNESCO Clubs

We are excited to share that our Executive Director Mr. Kiwagama Geofrey, had the privilege of representing us at a two-day Workshop on the Establishment of a National Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations, held from 19th to 21st June 2025 at ESSELA Hotel, Kiira Municipality.
Organized by the Uganda National Commission for UNESCO, this workshop brought together passionate youth leaders and civil society representatives from across the country. Together, we explored how to strengthen collaboration, amplify youth voices, and advance the Sustainable Development Goals through a unified national federation of UNESCO Clubs.
This experience reaffirmed the vital role that young people and grassroots organizations play in building inclusive, peaceful, and sustainable communities. We are proud to be part of this growing UNESCO family and look forward to contributing meaningfully to the federation’s vision and activities.
We are deeply honored to have him selected to serve on the National Federation Board as the Eastern Region Representative. This is a huge step forward for grassroots leadership, and we look forward to championing the voices, ideas, and needs of young people and communities across the Eastern Region.
Thank you to Uganda National Commission for UNESCO (UNATCOM) for the opportunity and support!
